Arts and Crafts Country Home

Full interior design service delivered from concept through to completion for this rural Arts and Crafts home in the heart of the Scottish Borders.

Working in close collaboration with architects and builders, we were commissioned by our London-based clients to design the interiors of a beautifully detached property undergoing a full renovation. The project included four bathrooms, a kitchen, and a boot room. Preserving the home’s original character—such as the striking wood panelling and period fireplaces—was central to our approach, while carefully introducing contemporary elements to modernise the space. A palette of soft pinks, greens, blues, and rich tweeds was used to enhance the home’s warmth and heritage.

The result is a serene country retreat: homely, comfortable, and effortlessly elegant, offering a relaxed yet refined space for our clients to enjoy during their visits.
