Georgian Flat

This elegant ground floor Georgian flat in Edinburgh’s historic New Town was sensitively restored for our overseas clients, blending period charm with thoughtful, modern comfort. A soft palette of greys is carried throughout the home, accented with gentle tones of duck egg blue and green to create a serene and timeless feel. Rich textures—including sumptuous velvets, tactile weaves, and tapestry inspired fabrics—add warmth and depth, bringing a sense of understated luxury to every space whilst maintaining a comfortable and homely feel.

The bathrooms feature stunning tiles in a hand-painted pattern inspired by folk design, that lend character and individuality, while the cosy spare bedroom is elevated with dramatic, inky blue hydrangea wallpaper for a bold yet inviting atmosphere. Traditional architectural details such as ornate cornicing, sash windows, and arched doorways were carefully preserved and complemented with bespoke joinery and refined finishes by our partners Dovetail Renovations. From the floral-tiled ensuite to the panelled dining nook, the result is a beautifully layered interior that balances heritage with contemporary sophistication.
